Accountabilities, Deliverables and Challenges

  • Experience in aligning and building HR practices and processes that are consistent with global principles
  • Overall exposure to different areas of HR
  • Ability to manage and develop Talent
  • Identifying training and development needs within the organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers
  • Develop and execute a Training and Development strategy for the organization and devising individual learning plans
  • Experience in coordinating Training and Development programs and experience in working with trainers
  • Considering the costs of planned programmes and keeping within budgets and assessing the return on investment
  • Amending and revising programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment and identifying creative new ways to deliver the best possible training experiences (scalable, fast, effective)
  • Help line managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
  • Understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages
  • Defines measurements of success for training programs and evaluates effectiveness of training based on program goals and business data
  • Manages key organizational programs including employee engagement, talent assessment, performance management and compliance
  • Experience in Annual Performance Appraisal
    • Experience in the normalization process
    • Post appraisal development of employees
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines and work with employees at all levels in the organization 

Education, Qualifications and background

  • Degree in HR and/or Professional Qualification in HR with preferably over 8 years of experience in the HR domain with at least 5 years at a managerial level.
  • Having an MBA would be an added advantage.
  • Past experience working in a Software Development company will also be an added advantage.
