Job Summary: On every interaction with a BCD Travel client, provide exceptional service which exceeds client expectations and effectively manage and control all facets of domestic and international travel arrangements, as per the client policy of BCD Travel directive. This is an offshore operation for Australia BCD Travel. We expect the consultants to have experience in handing corporate clients, VIP clients and worked in offshore environment.
Job Specific Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure the quality of service provided to our clients exceeds both BCD Travel and our client's expectations on every interaction. Action all client requests & travel arrangements in an efficient, timely & accurate manner, in accordance with the SLA. Provide high quality and effective travel solutions and advice to all clients, ensuring the client is offered the best solution for their needs. Analyze fare and routing alternatives to provide best fare of the day options on all travel itineraries in line with customer requirements. Adhere to all BCD Travel and client specific procedures, travel policies and contract requirements at all times. Maintain accurate and clear communication with the client at all times. Ensure written authorization and agreement is obtained from the client prior to any travel arrangements being confirmed. Ensure all tickets, itineraries and documentation are accurate and provided to the client in a timely manner. Attend internal meetings and training as required along with any reporting requirements of your activities for management
Qualifications / Knowledge I Experience At least 5 years of both domestic & international consulting experience. Corporate travel industry, meetings and incentives or general travel industry background. Excellent knowledge of fares, airlines contracts, rules and regulations. Good geographical knowledge. Travel GDS (Sabre) knowledge and experience. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Adaptive selling - adapt communications to a person or situation. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
