Search for Common Ground -Sri Lanka

Terms of Reference: Policy and Advocacy Specialist

Introduction
Search for Common Ground, in partnership with key stakeholders, is at the forefront of addressing gendered online hate speech and cyber-gender-based violence (cyber- GBV/CSGBV) in Sri Lanka. In the previous year, Search tested a model in one district to integrate and address CSGBV concerns within the existing GBV forum, through a series of  awareness sessions and sensitisation meetings with law enforcement, CSOs and government  officials at the district and divisional level. Now entering the fourth phase of our project, we hope to extend this model to two other districts and hence seek the support of a Advocacy and Policy advisor to support the establishment and sensitisation of the GBV forums in two  selected districts to include and address CSGBV issues.
