IT AND SYSTEM SUPPORT EXECUTIVE – 2 YEARS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

JOB DESCRIPTION

 Responsible for developing and maintaining IT and effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure related activities of the organization.

·         Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.

·         Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.

·         Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusion and make available help desk support for backing up work accounts such as (QB), POS, coding when requisite thrash out.

·         Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.  Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.

·         Accountable for “myPOS” IMS on-time trouble shooting and other support per request from various constituencies.  Investigate and troubleshoot issues.

REQUIREMENT

●       Any course releavant to the above subject

●       Minimum 2 Years’ experience in similar field.

●       Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Unix, Microsoft etc.

●       Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve quickly.

●       Location of work – Colombo
