Creative Assistant

I am looking for a talented, creative and proficient artist to join me in the studio. Looking for a self-motivated, hardworking, positive and peaceful person who will create art in the studio, as well as being the point of contact between artist and the outside world.
 
A mixture of tasks will keep you on your feet- although there are administrative requirements, this is not an office job. The artist’s assistant needs to get out and about - familiarise yourself with which artists show at which galleries, get on their mailing lists, go to exhibitions and openings, enquire with the galleries, meet people, make friends - This is a great job to combine with your own practice, and to support and supplement other work in progress. This isn’t to say that this is a casual job that can be taken lightly - You will be required to work hard and draw on a number of creative skills. Our mission is to create beautiful visual designs, communications, on-site graphics, photography, video production, style guides, and user experiences. We apply strategic insight to delight customers - driving discovery, engagement, and trust.

A successful candidate will be an effective communicator that can handle multiple projects from beginning to end, under tight and evolving deadlines. The ideal candidate has top-tier social media and photography editing skills and can work independently with little supervision and/or collaborate with a team of producers and creatives to raise the bar with each project. The studio is a friendly environment. The fact that you get to meet many fascinating people is another positive aspect of the job.
