Content Executive (Junior)

Our client is the premier job agency in Sri Lanka. They are currently looking for a Content Executive with following requirements.

The (Junior) Content Executive is responsible for :

Downloading/capturing Sri Lankan movies, TV shows and music videos from our content partners and process according to office guidelines
Watch every video and document basic metadata (category, genre, tags, cast & crew) according to office guidelines
Write a short video synopsis in English
Write short artist biographies for the top celebrities in our database
Searching for, selecting, resizing and archiving all artist pictures and movie artwork
Uploading all artists, videos, images and metadata information to our database using Google Cloud based services
Assisting the rest of the team in any content production related work

The (Junior) Content Executive must have the following profile:

(Recent) graduate from a top university in a relevant field, looking for an entry level job with great growth potential
Digital native with a passion for online products
Excellent English language proficiency and great communication skills are an absolute must, Sinhalese is a bonus
Some experience with backend or content/campaign management systems like WordPress, YouTube channel, Facebook ads or Google Drive.
Interest in and knowledge of Sri Lankan media landscape is an advantage
