Business Development Executive (Female)

Exetel is the 5th largest Internet Service Provider in Australia providing Internet, VoIP and managed services to businesses. We are looking for the next generation of Exetel talent at a very exciting time to help us drive new business opportunities and to be successful in a larger market.

Exetel’s Colombo office is at Orion City. You will be required to work an 8 hour ’shift’ on Australian hours. This ’shift’ will be varied on an alternate month basis with a ’shift’ worked between 4.00 am and 3.30 pm Sri Lankan local time (in accordance with the Daylight saving time). The people who are currently successful at Exetel in these positions have the following characteristics:

The Position:

The job responsibilities of this position are as follows but not limited to:

• Act as a sales consultant to business customers promoting Exetel’s wide range of telecommunication services.
• Perform various service qualification checks using advanced web based applications, responding to customers in an efficient manner.
• Knowledge of Exetel overall product offering including ability to stay on top of telecommunication market trends.
• Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.

Required experience:

•          Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal English.
•          Professional education qualification related to the industry, Diploma/Degree, good college education including engagement in leadership and extracurricular activities is a must.
•          Strong computer, email and web application skills and the ability to use Microsoft.
•          Experience in Customer service, sales or similar will be an added advantage.

Remunerations:

On target remuneration will be well over Rs. 90,000/, which includes allowances for early morning travel and generous sales commissions. Exetel offers un-capped commission so the earning potential in this role is enormous
