Assistant Manager - Brand Activation (Marketing)

The job exists to ensure taking responsibility for creating and organizing a national consumer and events strategy with a focus on delivering brand, product and revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and organizing a national consumer and trade events strategy with a focus on delivering brand, product and revenue objectives across all airtel products. Events include, but are not limited to National, Regional and Town levels.
  • Develop Events and Demo program to engage new users and expand the consumer base and share.
  • Leverage all Airtel Sports Marketing initiatives.
  • Activate event strategy to accurately reflect individual airtel brand values; deliver a clear, strong, authentic brand message to the consumer.
  • Develop overall strategy and best practices for consumer demo program in line with Airtel brand objectives. Oversee field team on flawless execution of annual calendar.
  • Work in conjunction with the postpaid team to ensure that marketing initiatives and programs are leveraged across the sales channel on the b2b arena.
  • Oversee development and management of grass roots events and team program to propagate brand acceptance and adoption.

Qualifications:

Part or fully complete Bachelor’s degree or a Professional qualification in a related field.

Working Experience:

2+ years Event and Activation Experience (either at agency or FMCG, Telecom company)
