Web Designer cum Social Media Coordinator

Our client is a renowned fashion retail company in Sri Lanka. They require a Web Designer cum Social Media Coordinator to become a part of their growing team in Colombo - Sri Lanka

Qualifications and Experience

Strong technical knowledge of MySQL, PHP, Dream Weaver CS5, Ajax, Java Script etc.
Must be able to demonstrate graphic artistic ability (Photoshop CS5, Adobe Illustrator or latest)
Should have a passion for fashion and an eye for tasteful visuals.
Experience in custom made themes in WordPress and etc.
Strong web uploading methods, database knowledge will be an added advantage
Sound knowledge in web administration and modern web development techniques.
Minimum 1+ years of experience as a web designer in a reputed organization
Relevant Diploma level qualification from a recognized institute.

Job Role

Responsible for the design, moderating, updating and development of web sites allocated.
Manage the allocated fan pages within all social media platforms such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Instagram.
Monitor Social media groups, trend tools, and applications and recommend actions/ next steps.
Work closely with colleagues across the organization to develop and post content to social media pages.
Regularly report insights gained from social media monitoring, to internal stakeholders and Department Heads.
Use creative thinking and initiative to analyze site performance metrics and make recommendations on content, site design or features to improve effectiveness of web content and/or applications.
