The Web Analytics Specialist leads the development and implementation of Web site analytics, reporting, tagging and testing that delivers actionable business insights that help make smart business decisions. The specialist will be responsible for analytics planning across customer’s Web sites, and will deliver a suite of dashboards, recurring reports and ad hoc analyses to guide decision making and maximize return-on-marketing-spend. As an expert in web analytics, the specialist will educate stakeholders on analytics best practices, and advocate for the importance of data driven decision making.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain and interpret dashboards and reports on Web site performance including long-term traffic trends, audience segments, and the results of online marketing initiatives
  • Configure and use web analytics data to recognize patterns and trends to understand visitor behavior and identify improvement opportunities
  • Translate web analytics data into actionable insights that inform user experience design across strategic business decisions to maximize budget and impact
  • Present actionable insights to digital marketing and creative services teams as well as various  levels of management
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as necessary to answer business questions and drive decisions
  • Measure the effectiveness of Web site features by leveraging A/B and/or multivariate testing to refine performance over time
  • Develop an ambitious testing calendar, lead implementation and build a knowledge base of insights and best practices
  • Translate business requirements into tagging specifications
  • Implementation and QA of the analytics tagging using a tag management tool
  • Support internal data management teams to build, maintain and load data into appropriate data marts or warehouse
  • Serve as the Web Analytics expert and cross-train team as appropriate on the use of Google Analytics and other analytics tools
  • Stay abreast of web analytics trends and best practices

Qualifications;

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably  in an analytical/statistics/data/Engineering/computer science discipline.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong technical skills in web analytics and tag management.
  • Ability to interpret data and analyze results to generate insights.
  • Excel / data management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively with business teams and developers.
