Trainee Technical Support Executive (Male)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The individual (male only) should have the skill and the knowledge to provide timely solutions for technical problems that may arise in an organization, while establishing and maintaining contact with clients.

JOB DUTIES

  1. Talking to staff or clients through a series of actions either face to face, over the telephone, via teamviewer to help set up systems or resolve issues;
  2. Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
  3. Replacing parts as required;
  4. Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
  5. Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
  6. Supporting the roll-out of new applications;
  7. Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
  8. Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
  9. Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
  10. Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time;
  11. Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, e.g., software developers;
  12. Testing and evaluating new technology;
  13. Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Excellent knowledge in Hardware and Networking/ providing technical support for Hardware and Software issues in the office.
  2. Knowledge in interior hardware industry
  3. Ability to convers in English
  4. A diploma in related field and having a driver’s license, will be an added advantage
