As a Software Engineer, you are expected to be energetic, dependable and capable of working under pressure as a part of our Web & Mobile Development team.

           Job Responsibilities;

• Work on bug fixing, improving application performance & ensure the stability, security and availability of applications.
• Mobile application development & support.
• Creating technical documents and training materials.
• Liaise with the software development staff/ Vendors to arrive permanent solutions to the issues.
• Set benchmark in productivity, Software Quality and Delivery to other team members.
• Ensuring the agreed service levels (SLA).
• Arranging staff training and awareness sessions when necessary.
• Research and Deploy new and emerging technologies.

Qualifications & Experience;

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computing / IT, Information Management Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven knowledge in PHP/MySQL web application development with CodeIgniter framework, HTML5, XML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX.
• A minimum 4-5 Years of Work/Industrial experience in requirement gathering, analyzing & architecting the software development according to the project requirements.
• Working knowledge in MS SQL Server / RDBMS knowledge in MYSQL.
• Experience in Java related technologies such as J2SE, EJB JSF, Servlet, Web services / Android based mobile application development will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of relational databases & developing web services.
• Investigation & diagnostic skills to identify the root causes.
• Competent IT literacy around Insurance applications and systems.
• Willing to learn new techniques and technologies.
• A positive and result-oriented individual with  “can-do" attitude
• Excellent team player and a self-motivated individual who can achieve maximum productivity and control costs through effective use of new technologies with available resources.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
