Senior Software Quality Engineer - Data Analytics

The Role

Senior QE Engineer drives the QE practices in the agile team. Should understand the business domain, technical aspect and can explain what values customers get from the product. Implement quality through development life cycle using testing techniques, automation tools, recognized process and practices. Provision in depth analysis of issues and provide stakeholder with quality related information.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of experience in software quality engineering.

• Bachelors degree in Computing, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent.

• The desire to learn and continuously improve on the product quality, performance and other non functional requirements.

• Excellent Analytical, Problem solving skills.

• Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact with prompt and professionalism to the teams across multiple geographies and time zones.

• Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in Java & technologies including open source server side technologies and Web services (REST) or fluency in Selenium.

• Basic experience or knowledge in RDBMS technologies, NoSQL and Big Data and data driven testing.

• Thorough knowledge on Software Quality Assurance and testing.

• Basic experience or knowledge in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Graph & Big Data analytics and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load).

• Experience in Agile software development practices such as SCRUM & TDD / ATDD.

• Basic experience or knowledge on building, packaging & deployment tools, web & application servers and database technologies.
