Quality Assurance Technician

Job profile

  • Should work on shift basis including night shifts.
  • Coordinate QA functional activities of site, liaising with internal supply chain network and commercial operations.
  • Routine Inspections and release of all incoming material such as packing materials, Bulk products and imported finished goods.
  • Batch review and release.
  • Inspection and disposition of Market Returns
  • Routine Calibration of measuring equipments
  • Follow Good Laboratory Practices, Safety Rules to create/ maintain a good and safe working environment.
  • Ensure timely release of material for production and finished products for inventory.
  • Deal promptly and effectively with routine Quality Incidents/Deviations as per guidelines

Personal Profile

  • G.C.E Advanced Level Qualification in Science Stream with at least 2 years experience related to Quality Assurance work OR Degree in Science Stream/Diploma in Quality Control/Assurance/ DLTC (I. Chem) related fields.
  • Able to demonstrate sound knowledge on Laboratory Practices and Equipment usage
  • Knowledge on Quality Management Systems/Production Manufacturing Systems, Exposure to ISO, HACCP Process will be an added advantage
  • Good Communication and analytical skills
