POST OF QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER -
PERFETTI VAN MELLE LANKA (PRIVATE) LIMITED
Perfetti Van Melle Lanka (Private) Limited invites applications for the post of Quality Assurance Officer.
Perfetti Van Melle, one of the largest manufacturers of sugar confectionery products in the world, set up a state of art facility in Sri Lanka in 2008 to manufacture and sell Gums and Candies. In a short span of 5 years, Perfertti Van Melle Lanka, 100% subsidiary of the multinational Perfetti Van Melle, has achieved market leadership in Sri Lanka with the help of brands such as Centerfruit, Centerfresh, Alpenliebe, Mentos,Happydent and Marbels.
Location : Seeduwa
Reports to : Factory Manager, Asst. Manager - Quality Assurance
Nature of Job:
- Testing and evaluation of RM and PM
- Lab Analysis of process and packing parameters.
- Prepare Check lists for process.
- Calibration of lab equipments and process equipments.
- Familiar with ISO and HACCP systems
- Follow the hygiene guidelines and report
- Follow the Plant pest control measures and report
Qualification:
National Diploma in Technology - Chemical Engineering
or
Degree specialized in Chemistry
or
Similar qualification obtained from a well reputed institute.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience in similar capacity in a reputed organization. The experience in manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
Other Pre requisites:
· Willingness to work on shifts including night shifts,
· Good communications skills,
· Good written and Oral skills in English
· Familiarity with Computer operation.
· Preferance will be given for male candidates.
