Qualifications and experience

• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in apparel industry
• Should have handled  woven garments – Trousers, Jackets
• Prior exp in handling wash programs; shrinkage/ shade lot issues/wash effect
• Awareness of 4 point systems, AQL , American standard systems
• Should have practical and methodical  approach to problem solving
• Knowledge of folders & attachment

Job Role

• Involvement from Fabrics – Shipment: setting parameters for quality checks at all levels and following them
• Building quality team in each dept & training & mentoring them
• Understanding of markers and patterns
• Exposure to washes , fabric shade lot
• Processing details and working on root cause  analysis
• Documenting as well as interpreting data recorded in production floor
• Working in the shop floor – not only detecting quality issues but also solving them
