Project Manager - Dental Prescription Drugs

Our client is a Pharmacy offer a range of prescription medicines and specialist compounded products for dentists in Australia.

They are are seeking a Project Manager to undertake a series of important tasks for us in Colombo.

 

These include managing:

• The registration of our Bubblegum flavoured 10% Lignocaine transdermal topical gel –used to rapidly numb the patient’s gum before the main injection;
• The process to have this product included on the approved list for government dentists to purchase;
• Preliminary negotiations with GMP level manufacturers in Sri Lanka to manufacture the product and possibly other products in our range.

 

We see this as a part-time position and believe that a degree-qualified pharmacist would be the ideal candidate as knowledge of drug interactions and formulation processes is required.

A second qualification, such as an MBA or other PG degree, would be highly regarded.

For the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to secure equity in the eventual local company and be involved in other markets with us.

We see this as a three to six month, part-time position, depending on the approval timeframes of the local authorities.

We will cover all the fees and charges and offer an hourly rate of LKR1000 per hour on the submission of fortnightly activity-based timesheets.

We will agree a work breakdown structure with the successful candidate confirming hours by activity.

We have local facilities for payments.
