WANTED Procurement Executive
IPD Group is an Australian company with a long and proud history of providing Electrical solutions and Installation services to Australian customers.
We are currently looking for a talented, committed, and confident individual to join the Procurement Team in Colombo. The job role will mainly involve working with Australian counterparts to maintain optimum inventory levels at our warehouses.
Key Responsibilities • Maintain optimum inventory levels to align with the forecaster demand & financial plan
• Work closely with Product Managers to get market insights
• Liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders to follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery
• Maintenance of master data periodically to ensure accuracy
• Managing daily orders
Qualifications & Skills • Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management/CPSM/ CIPS/CILT/ISMM or relevant qualifications • 3-5 years relevant work experience • Prior experience in demand forecasting & planning • Experience in working with an ERP system will be an added advantage • Expert knowledge in MS Excel would be an added advantage • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Willing to work according to Australian calendar and if required Australian working hours
