Plant Head (Rubber Toy Manufacturing)
Location: Biyagama
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Directing and managing Rubber Toy manufacturing operation to ensure that the
objectives are achieved in terms of Production, Quality & Delivery.
« Leading, guiding, monitoring and improving team performance to ensure that
employee knowledge and capabilities are continuously enhanced.
« Follow up on time delivery of raw material & monitor quality of same.
* Maintaining required quality levels are up to the satisfaction of customers.
= Providing remedial actions for day-to-day quality defects in each section of rubber
manufacturing.
« Ability to guide & monitor laboratory functions related to rubber testing.
Qualifications & Experience:
= Degree or Diploma in Engineering Science in any discipline preferably NDT special in
Polymer Technology with minimum 10 years of work experience in manufacturing
industry.
= Hands on experience in Latex casting and/or pressure molding would be
advantageous.
= Sound knowledge of operating strategies.
= Knowledge of planning and controlling operations.
® Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
=" Good command of English both oral and written.
= An individual between the age of 35 years to 45 years.
