We are looking for a professional Operations Manager with proven experience to plan, direct and coordinate all operations at one of our partner organisations. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies.

Responsibilities;

Ensure that all workings are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements

Improve operational systems, processes and best practises that guarantee organisational well-being

Purchase materials, plan inventory and manage warehouse efficiency

Produce reports to management as required

Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives

Examine financial data/statements and utilise them to improve profitability

Perform quality controls and monitor production KPI’s

Participate in Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising processes

Requirements;

Proven working experience as operations manager

Adequate knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management

Experience in preparing budgets & forecasting

Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices

IT skills (databases, MS Office etc)

Effective communication skills and the ability to relate to different levels within the organisation

Leadership and organisational skills

BS degree or equivalent in operations management or related field
