OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH PHYSICIAN

Role profile

 

• To ensure that GSK Sri Lanka site operations have adequate employee health services to enable them to effectively assess and manage employee health risks and impacts

 

• Drive varied health initiatives  at the sites such as clinical, case management and health enhancement, hazard recognition, evaluation and health surveillance aligned to GKS and local regulatory requirements

 

• Management of Occupational Health centres at the sites and be responsible for administration of timely first aid treatment to the injured/ill employees at site whilst maintaining relevant medical records

 

Personal Profile

• MBBS and Post Graduate Qualification in Occupational Health (registered under the Sri Lanka Medical Council)
• Have a minimum of 3-5 years’ occupational medicine and industrial experience
• Sound knowledge of country legal requirements related to Occupational Health including local legal and regulatory requirements
