Technical Competency
 
 Hands on experience with application level load balancers such as F5 LTMs
 Solid knowledge and experience related to networking in application delivery
 CCIE level expertise in LAN/WAN/Data Center and Network Security design and architecture,
 installation/configuration, end to end testing and documentation
 ITIL knowledge or prior experience in an ITIL managed environments
 Hands on experience with Cisco routers/switches running IOS 12.4 or higher
 Hands on experience with Firewalls ( Fortigate/Checkpoint/Cisco ASA )
 Solid understanding in Routing Protocols EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
 Sound knowledge in switching technologies such as STP, Port Channeling
 Good knowledge and prior experience in implementing QOS
 Implementation and troubleshooting experience on VPN technologies
 Preparing diagrams with Microsoft Visio
 Deep understanding of network monitoring & management tools

 Ability to lead smaller teams to achieve a common goal

Accountabilities/Responsibility
 
 Primary escalation point for network troubleshooting for US after-hours times
 Prepare technical reports, test cases, client presentations, design documentation, and manuals
 Detailed design of LAN/WAN/Data Center architecture
 Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot client VPN connections
 Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot wireless networks and wireless connectivity
 Negotiate and maintain relationships with hardware and software vendors
 Perform installation and configurations of Cisco, Juniper, F5, Check Point, Cisco ASA, networkand security hardware and software
 Demonstrated infrastructure design, configuration, test and troubleshooting ability
 Lead team in supporting Network infrastructure technologies
 Identify Opportunities and motivate team to create and deploy automation frameworks and methodologies
 Lead team in supporting Internet-scale customer facing web applications meeting or exceeding availability of 99.9% uptime
 Be a part of the Global On-call rotation
 
 
Qualifications
 
 Should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or any other relevant field
 Should hold a valid CCNP/CCSP/CCVP certification
 Firewall related certifications ( Fortigate/Checkpoint/Cisco ) are preferred
 Having F5 Certifications would be a definite advantage
 ITIL Foundation or higher is preferred
