Our Client is a leading apparel company in Sri lanka
Qualifications and experience
- A relevant degree in clothing and technology in a similar field
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in merchandising
- Overseas experience in merchandising would be an added advantage
- Sound Communication Skills
- Strong Negotiation and Analytical Skills
Job Role
- Obtain development calendar from customer
- Working closely with the designer, technical & sourcing team; in order to develop a collection of styles
- Conduct development meetings
- Come into negotiations with suppliers
- Follow-up on the sampling process to obtain customer approvals
- Conducting business relationships with business partners
Personal Attributes and skills
- Outgoing personality
- Excellent Communication skills
- Should be able to under pressure
