You should possess a degree or diploma in Production Engineering or related field. Around 3 4 years of experience in an executive position in an apparel manufacturing environment would be advantageous. You should be technically competent to work together with the rest of the technical teams in identifying and finding solutions to the problems faced in the manufacturing process. It is essential that you possess communication skills to the highest degree as you will be required to co-ordinate with cross functional departments and also with the customer. You would also have a very positive outlook and be methodical and good at prioritizing your work under demanding circumstances.
