Executive – Industrial Engineering – MAS Intimates (Kandy, Kurunegala, Koggala)

Purpose of the Job

As  Executive – Industrial Engineering, you are required to effectively conduct work study projects, ensuring identification of the most effective work methods, setting of accurate standard times for operations, co-ordinate with internal parties and be responsible for production matters, in order to facilitate the achievement of required plant efficiency level whilst continuously improving the operational standards.

Your duties include;

• Provide advise / guidance in terms of technical and work methods and conduct training on basics of understanding of work-measurement / re-engineering of work place / work methods
• Monitor that all style analysis are carried out, verify and obtain all relevant information on the styles including operation sequence, work methods, SMVs, Machine and attachment requirements
• Prepare machine layouts, machine planning and attachments for the new styles and install the most effective work methods
• Verify the  validity of SMV and take appropriate corrective actions including communicating with the relevant personnel in order to achieve required performance level
• Identify new technology requirements for the manufacturing process to reduce production throughput time

Qualifications and Experience

• Engineering Degree / General Degree in Textile & Clothing 

           OR

• National Diploma in Textiles with 02 - 03 years work experience in a similar capacity
