On-Site Manager

for successful internationally managed Villa

We are looking to hire an experienced General Manager for a Villa near Hikkaduwa to supervise staff and ensure an outstanding service and excellent maintenance of the facilities to attract international clientele.

We expect the successful candidate to uplift the overall experience to a high international standard and independently improve and optimize the facilities.


 Role:

 - Sole responsibility to maintain and enhance the overall quality of the facilities as well as optimizing the offered services

- Managing expenses and petty cash accounts in co-operation with the managing company

- Direct reporting line to the managing company with a high degree of independent work

- Creation and development of a unique guest experience to ensure overall customer satisfaction

- Coordinating, monitoring and improving daily routines during guest visits

- Training and development of staff

- Ensuring completion of scheduled regular tasks and procedures by on-site staff

- Supervising staff to achieve highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene on the premises

- Monitoring market trends and competitors to ensure strong market position


Candidate Profile:

- English-speaking and familiar with social media

- Strong leadership skills to instruct, motivate and develop on-site staff

- High attention to detail and thrive to perfectionism

- In-depth knowledge of required international hygiene standards and quality expectations

- Knowledge of cultural differences and preferences of international guests

- Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel
