Senok Trade Combine (Pvt.) Ltd. is a well-established diversified group of Companies, Senok has expanded into the East Africa market and wish to set up offices in Kenya/Uganda.

To fulfill the above requirement we wish to immediately recruit individuals who meet the following requirements in the positions advertised below;

The positions are on a two year renewable contract, food and accommodation will be provided. Travel air fare on a yearly basis shall be awarded.

GENERAL MANAGER FINANCE

To head the finance division for marketing & after sales of construction machinery and infrastructure projects in East Africa.

The ideal candidate should possess the following Key requirements;

  • Fully qualified in Chartered/CIMA/ACCA and/or Degree in Business administration, Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 10 years of post-qualifying experience in a similar capacity.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in statistics and business analytics with keen business insights rooted in analytic approach.
  • Hands on experience on Microsoft excel and accounting systems including development of financial modeling.
  • An engineering background or worked in East Africa in similar projects will be an added advantage
  • Age between 40 – 50 years

The role will involve;

  • Preparation of Company’s financial & cost accounts, cost control and exception reporting.
  • Treasury management & Tax planning
  • Liaising and negotiating with Banks
  • Company set ups & operations management
  • Staff controlling and team player
  • Frequent visits to project sites
  • Further should be able to liaise with external parties.

MANGER SALES AND MARKETING

Looking for an energetic and efficient individual to head the sales Department of constructions machinery in Uganda.

The ideal candidate should possess the following Key requirements;

  • Hands on experience in marketing, construction machinery and equipment
  • Business or marketing related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies
  • Proven experience in customer and market research
  • Organization and planning
  • 7+ years of marketing management experience
  • Age between 35 – 40 years

The role will involve;

  • communicating with the Principals effectively
  • Drive the marketing and sales strategies of the Company
  • Research into existing markets and potential new market streams
  • Develop and follow up on business leads
  • Review progress of sales roles
  • Implement strategic plans with the assistance of product management and field sales.

WORKSHOP ENGINEER

Looking for a suitable candidate to head the repair workshops in Kenya & Uganda

The ideal candidate should possess the following Key requirements;

  • Mechanical Engineer
  • At least, 5+ years in-depth post qualification experience in heavy machinery maintenance and workshop practice.
  • The role calls for excellent administration skills and an ability to understand the financial implications of the post holder’s actions and the effect that will have on client budgets.
  • Age between 35 – 45 years

The role will involve;

  • Manage, organize and control an efficient mechanical engineering workshop including the management of Technicians and Graded Workers
  • Maintaining highest standards of safety, ensuring adherence to company Policies at all times 
  • Ensure that the workshop contributes to the business objectives by means of the delivery of optimum servicing and quality repair work to the satisfaction of the customer and to exploiting the market potential in the service sector.
  • Ensure delivery of high quality products and services by the workshop such as meeting completion deadlines, quality of work and proper customer handling in order to protect the customer’s interests
  • Maintaining good housekeeping practices in all areas of workshop 
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels to ensure satisfactory information transfer 

PROJECT MANAGER

Looking for a suitable candidate to handle hydro construction works and to sphere head projects in a timely manner in East Africa.

The ideal candidate should possess the following Key requirements;

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in civil engineering with minimum 10 years’ experience after graduation
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in construction of channels, water retaining structures, RC structures.
  • Good leadership, planning, organizing and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team
  • Age between 40 – 50 years

The role will involve;

  • To deliver projects within the critical path from scoping through to close-out
  • To deliver a wide variety of project management deliverables including (but not limited to); project manuals / project execution plans, risk registers, project schedules, Variation Orders (VOs) and tracking registers, sales invoices, monthly project reports, Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), progress meeting minutes etc.
  • To strive for continuous improvement and teamwork in product development and processes
  • To follow/support the development of new technical principles, concepts, techniques and processes
  • To analyze product design requirements and recommending solutions

Salary: Package negotiable, based on competency & experience.
