Development Merchandiser


Your Key accountability will be to manage customer schedules on developments.


The Role

The role required is to effectively handle the development process which commences with receipt of design packs and continues with sampling, costing in order to meet business objectives such as customer deadlines and quality of service.

You will need to strictly follow the T&A and achieve 100% OTD on samples and work with the costing team to ensure costings are released to customer on time.

 Your ability to liaise with internal/external cross functional teams will be of utmost importance

You should be able to coordinate with suppliers on pricing and arrange sample yardages and trims against BOMs for sampling.

To coordinate with the patterning and develop the final fit of the styles.

To Keep the Head of Development/ Team updated on the development and provide necessary feedback/ status at any given time.



Requirements –

  • 1-2 years’ experience in the apparel industry in the same or similar position

  • Should be able to liaise with suppliers and customers independently to ensure proper scheduling

  • Computer Literacy and fluency in English are essentials
