Job Title-Assistant Manager –Quality Assurance and Technical –Operations

Our Client- Is leading organization in the apparel industry.

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree in Textile or relevant Qualification 
  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge in Embellishment, Industrial  Engineering, Machinery and Pattern Making
  • Knowledge in Garment sewing/Construction knowledge, Knowledge in fabrics and product testing
  • Ideal candidate should posses sound Analytical/Interpersonal and communication skills

Job Role

  • Manage the overall Technical and Quality Assurance function of the product development process and provide leadership  to the New Product Introduction (NIP) and manufacturing facilities
  • Manage the R&D team and its process through the Technical Supporting Unit(TSU) and lead the Technical Supporting Unit (TSU)by collaboratively working with Garment Technologists and Technical teams
  • Ensure all quality procedures and Oversee technical and pattern related issues
  • Ensure  the most effective sewing methods are implemented
  • Guide relevant personnel in order to obtain the Customer Certified Auditor(CCU)qualification and conduct training programs for employees
  • Ensure product safety precautions are taken and Liaise with Garment Technologists &customers as and when required
  • Ensure efficiency and sample end time are achieved together with PDC operations team & Industrial Engineering personnel
