We are expanding our technical team to work on exciting new projects along with existing projects, and are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to help us achieve our goals.</p> <p>This is a permanent full time role with full flexibility in working hours, with the requirement of being on call for emergencies during UK working hours (9 am - 5 pm GMT) Monday to Friday. The role requires working with an internal services team to enhance the user experience of the site visitors and internal users.</p> <p>This is a very exciting opportunity to join a stable business at the height of digital innovation.</p> <p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p> <p>- Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines: Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software.</p> <p dir="ltr">- Reviews new or modified program, including documentation, diagram, and flowchart, to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines.</p> <p dir="ltr">- Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers.</p> <p dir="ltr">- Enters instructions into computer to test program for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to establishment standards.</p> <p dir="ltr">- Observes computer monitor screen during program test to detect error codes or interruption of program and corrects errors.</p> <p dir="ltr">- Identifies differences between establishment standards and user applications and suggests modifications to conform to standards.</p> <p dir="ltr">- Sets up tests at request of user to locate and correct program operating error following installation of program.</p> <p dir="ltr">- Conducts compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs.</p> <p dir="ltr">- Monitors program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.</p> <p dir="ltr">- Writes documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.</p> <p dir="ltr">- May evaluate proposed software or software enhancement for feasibility.</p> <p dir="ltr">- May develop utility program to test, track, and verify defects in software program.</p> <p dir="ltr">- May train software program users.</p> <p dir="ltr"> </p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:</strong></p> <p>- A degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent</p> <p dir="ltr">- 2-3 years experience in software testing or development in a technology specific environment</p> <p dir="ltr">- Experience on test automation and performance testing will be an added advantage</p> <p dir="ltr">- A proven track record of innovative work.</p> <p dir="ltr">- Experience of wireframing, prototyping, usability testing</p> <p dir="ltr">- Great communication skills and collaborative working methods.</p> <p dir="ltr">- An excellent knowledge of online usability, accessibility and industry standards/best practices</p> <p><br/> Please apply stating your salary expectations (Sri Lankan Rupees) and links to work references.
