This is a remarkable opportunity to work, learn & gain experience with a global brand in the hotel industry.</p>    <p><strong>The ideal candidate should:</strong></p>    <p>Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management /Management/Business Administration from a recognized University or full qualification in PQHRM from the Institute of Personnel Management (IPM) Sri Lanka together with three years’ experience at a similar capacity.</p>    <p><strong>The selected candidate will be responsible for:</strong></p>    <ul>  	<li>The entire Human Resources operation in the hotel</li>  	<li>Managing the recruitment systems within the hotel, paying particular attention to advertising, screening, work permits, reference checks and administration of all new hires</li>  	<li>Maintaining discipline of all staff in the hotel & handling all disciplinary related  issues as per hotel procedures</li>  	<li>Handling all disciplinary issues and conduct inquiries within the property</li>  	<li>Maintaining Industrial Relations and representing the hotel at domestic inquiries and attending labour tribunals; EFC meetings; labour department meetings on behalf of the hotel</li>  	<li>Managing the performance management process for all staff</li>  	<li>Actively promoting a working environment, which cares for guests and employees alike</li>  	<li>HR Administration and other related statutory requirements</li>  	<li>Participating in the Hotel “Manager on Duty” program</li>  	<li>Inspecting & maintaining standards of all staff quarters, organize and co-ordinate staff welfare activities</li>  	<li>Conducts regular employee meetings to keep all employees informed.</li>  	<li>Assists with the operation of the Payroll Office ensuring excellent service to employees and appropriate control and management mechanisms are in place and being utilized appropriately</li>  	<li>Administering Best Western University</li>  </ul>    <p>The selected candidate will have a competitive salary, outstanding benefits which are above industry standards.
